National Academy of Sciences – S&T Investment Framework Workshop

Decision Sciences Chief Physicist Dr. Michael Sossong will present to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Committee at the Global S&T Trends and Investment Framework  Workshop on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 2-3 p.m.  The presentation is titled: Muon Tomography. Dr. Sossong will discuss Decision Sciences’ groundbreaking security and detection technology – the Multi-Mode Passive Detection System (MMPDS) – which uses muon tomography to accurately, reliably and safely scan for nuclear, radiological, explosive and other contraband threats. The National Academies is a private, non-profit established by Congress and charged with providing independent, objective advice to the nation on matters related to science and technology.
